Our Project

Mentors4U High School is a non-profit venture where young professionals and university students help high school students choosing the right university that best match their passions, talent and future aspirations.

Today many students do not know which university choose or which is the subject they want to study. They arrive at this critical moment confused and not adequately prepared. This is not necessarily due to lack of talent or strong will, but rather to the absence of a structured decision process or mentoring system that help them in properly assessing the different options.

Mentors4U wants to solve this problem offering to ambitious and determined students the opportunity to share their views, academic inspirations and receive guidance from university students and professionals with excellent academic backgrounds.

M4U provides students with an additional tool which aims at helping them to make more informed choices during the last years of high school in order to craft the best academical path and help them maximize their talent.  On the other hand, M4U helps the schools to create an active community of students who are always willing to look for new stimulus and interests.

How do we reach our goal?

Presentations in different schools
High Schools will benefits from a Presentation and a Workshop run by one of our Local Teams. These activities’ goal is to provide students with frameworks and guidelines to help them develop a structured and informed decision process to choose the university that best fits their talents and ambitions.

Individual Mentoring (coming soon)
Furthermore, students will also have the chance to be mentored and guided by an university student through an individual mentoring programme. Each Mentor will offer their Mentees guidance and suggestions on how to craft the best academic path based on their experience and knowledge of the university world.

What does mentoring mean?
The term mentoring defines a personal relationship between a person with more professional and academic experience (Mentor) and one less experienced (Mentee), with the goal of providing the Mentee with guidance and support throughout his/her academic and professional development.

Mentee will have the opportunity to participate to events dedicated to the community aimed at creating a network of students and professionals who share the same aspirations and interests.

Our Audience

The programme will be addressed to students in their junior year who are keen to acquire a more structured and informed decision process, which will help them in properly assessing the different options when it comes to choose the university they will be attending.
